Welcome to the Blood Management and Conservation _CME Web site — A Resource for Implementing _Best Practices for Blood Management

Implementing Best Practices for Blood Management, is a unique opportunity to learn about the benefits of blood management and how to develop a blood management program. This CME initiative began in the spring of 2007 with a series of regional hands-on, interactive critical pathways workshops instructed by the nation’s foremost thought leaders. To build on the momentum of _developing and implementing blood management programs at institutions across the country, various activities and resources are now being offered including monthly teleconferences, an e-journal club, and a resource library containing slide sets and customizable templates of care maps, algorithms, and checklists available for download.
